Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and is essential for many bodily functions. Our bodies make glutamine, and we also consume it in foods like wheat, peanuts, corn, and milk. Despite our body making glutamine, we may require supplementation when our bodies are stressed from injury or illness.
